SHRIMPERS
The Shrimpers on-loan defender John White is expected to be fit after recovering from a hamstring problem, M'Voto taking his place in Tuesday night's cup defeat at Hull with skipper Adam Barrett moving to left-back.
Winger Damien Scannell may get a spot on the subs bench after returning from an ankle problem along with striker Francis Laurent, both resumed training this week.
Blues boss Steve Tilson also has to decide on who will partner four goal Lee Barnard up-front having tried out Alex Revell in midweek, or recall the veteran Scot, Dougie Freedman.
The bid question is whether the Colchester duo Matt Heath and John White will remain as their month long loan period ends after Saturday.
Centre-back Heath, who has played in all six games during his stay with the Shrimpers, told the official site: "At the moment I don't know whether or not this is going to be my last game, I will do all I can in the game but it's not really up to me what happens. I have enjoyed it at Southend though because I have been playing games and if it is my last game then it would be nice to go out with a win. We have been playing well and just need to learn from the mistakes we have made. When we go a goal up we need to build on it and keep on going rather than taking it for granted but I think we can do that."
The situation has been made easier as the Farmers don't have a manager after Paul Lambert decided to join Norwich City.
Full back White added: "I don't know what's going to happen now. I'm going to leave it to the people above me and what they say goes really. Obviously, I'll have my opinions on it and tell them what I want to do and we'll go from there."
Of the two, White is the player that has impressed more and while both would be a loss, the Colchester born left back would cause the Southend management more headaches.
Meanwhile, Tilly doesn't believe either sides Carling Cup excursions will affect the game: "I don't think it will make much difference. We didn't get back from Hull until 3am so it's probably quite even on that front but it will certainly be a hard game there."

OPPOSITION
At this moment Robins boss Danny Wilson seems to have a full squad to pick except for Lescinel Jean-Francois who has a concern over a dodgy groin.

Scott Cuthbert and Craig Easton played at Wolves on Tuesday and are hoping to stay in the side but will it include a couple of young Celtic lads picked up on loan.
Celtic duo Ben Hutchinson and Simon Ferry have signed for Swindon on temporary deals until January 1, 2010.
Both 21, Ferry is a central midfielder, while Hutchinson is a striker, and both players are available to play against Southend.
Wilson said about the pair: "We've had a good week of football and bringing the couple of boys in as well has been a big lift for everybody. They're both very enthusiastic, really ready for the challenge and excited about coming down. You can't put too much pressure on these young lads, but we've seen enough to suggest that he (Hutchinson) will score goals. Once he gets an understanding of the team around him he will get in the right positions, but there is no pressure on him. The nice thing about both players is that we've got them until January minimum. There's no rush and we don't have to push them in and get them games as quick as possible. We can bleed them in as quickly or slowly as we want to."
The Hoops X1 told the BBC 6-0-6 site: 'I've watched both on numerous occasions playing for the Celtic reserve team and can only say that Swindon will reap the rewards from these two players.......big Hutchinson is a route one player towards goal and I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see him by January having bagged at least 20 goals for the Robins! All in all both are outstanding prospects.'
Oldham Athletic 2 Swindon Town 2 (played Saturday August 22nd, 2009.)
Three goals in the last seven minutes saw Swindon and Oldham share the spoils at Boundary Park.
37 mins (GOAL 1-0 Marrow): Alex Marrow picks up the ball wide on the right, exchanges passes with Taylor before slotting the ball past the on-rushing Lucas from 15 yards.
83 mins (GOAL 1-1 McGovern): Town equalise late on thanks to a superb piece of quick thinking from McGovern.
90 mins (GOAL 1-2 Paynter): Swindon appear to have snatched a last-gasp victory thanks to ex-Blue front man Paynter.
90 mins (GOAL 2-2 Lee): Keiran Lee flights a cross towards the far post which looks too deep, but it strikes the inside of the upright and finds a way past Lucas to earn Oldham a draw.

HISTORY
Swindon Town Football Club was founded by Reverend William Pitt of Liddington in 1879. The team turned professional in 1894 and joined the Southern League which was founded in the same year.
The club's home ground is the County Ground, which has an all-seated capacity of 15,728.
Since turning professional in 1894, the club has enjoyed periods of proud success, most notably, during the period 1968-1970 when they won the 1969 League Cup (defeating Arsenal at Wembley Stadium) securing promotion to the Second Division.
League Cup success earned the club its first invitations to European competitions, but they were not eligible to participate because they played in the then Third Division.
So as compensation they were entered into the 1969 Anglo-Italian League Cup and the 1970 Anglo-Italian Cup, with Swindon winning both.
These wins were led by the club's talismanic winger Don Rogers. He has had the South Stand named after him from the 2007/08 season.
Swindon Town won promotion to the Premier League during the 1992-93 season, the only time the club has played in the top level of English football.
The Robins was the second team to win promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs, beating Leicester City in a cracker 4-3, with Glenn Hoddle as manager.
