Perhaps the biggest draw of the four takes place just one week before the start of the new campaign on Saturday August 2nd, when the Shrimpers take on Essex rivals Colchester United. This will be the first meeting for some time, since the Essex Courier Cup tournament some five years ago. Not surprisingly, the admission price for this game is higher than the others, with adults charges £10 and concessions £5. The same pricing is in occurence for the game against Ipswich Town on Tuesday 15th July.

However, the club have reduced prices for the other two matches, the first of which sees First Division Gillingham make the short trip northwards. The match against the Gills will take £7 out of an adult wallet, with youngsters raiding the piggy bank for £3. And the match against perennial Ryman Premier Division under-achievers Canvey Island sees concessions charged just £1, with adults paying £6.

Tickets are on sale from the club shop.
