Sanchez: 'That decision turned the game'
It was a fairly easy work out for the Shrimpers at Underhill Tuesday evening with Barnet getting battered 3-0, but it all could have been different says Bees boss Sanchez if Bilel Moshni's decisive second goal had been ruled out.
A decision that originally was given with the flag raised late but clearly when the Frenchman had got in behind the defence to poke the ball home, before the officials had a chat about it and decided to give it anyway.
Quite right too in our opinion. Then again, we would say that!
Sanchez told the PA: "I've spoken to the referee and he said the linesman gave offside. The referee blew and gave offside. They've then conspired between the two of them to give a goal. That decision turned the game. I don't see how the linesman has given offside, and then the referee has blown for offside and then they've changed their minds. I don't know how that's worked."
Not sure it would have changed the way the points ended up, but all to their own.
