All is not well in the House of Ron, part 1.

Unless you believe the Echo is making this all up, there are Blues players who have yet been given their wages when they should have been in their accounts a fortnight ago.

Not good news with those Christmas credit card bills around, we are not talking about guys paid John Terry sized bills here.

An 'unamed source', always dangerous S24 appreciates but understandable in the circumstances, told www.echo-news.co.uk: "You can really see how it's getting to people. We're all still really in this together and we will fight all the way on the pitch in the matches but when you're not getting paid and don't know when you will it's hard. It has certainly affected players in training and it's also making things hard for the manager because not many people are keen to sign for us now."

However, a club spokesman responded: "It's all just rumour and speculation. It's all getting a little tiresome but that's what seems to happen in football."

You pays you money, or maybe in this case, you don't.
