Morrison: 'Saturday was the first game since joining I haven't got cramp'

Sean Morrison, the impressive loanee centre back from The Robins, should be playing his last game for Southend Saturday against Hartlepool.

However, both clubs are happy for the 18-year-old to stay at Roots Hall for another month, which would help Sean get back to full fitness.

Morrison told the Echo: "Saturday's game at Charlton was the first match with Southend I haven't got cramp in. Before coming here I hadn't played for about two months and I'm still only about 75 per cent fit but that's improving all the time which is helping my performances. I would be happy to stay at Southend because it's been good getting games and playing more matches would get me fully fit again, while helping me get back to my best."
