Mitchell Cole has joined Northampton Town on a month's loan deal this morning.
Since Paul Brush's statement a week or so ago that some players would benefit from going out on loan, there has been speculation on who would be going on a month's holiday and where.
However it seems that Mitchell, the 19-year-old former Grays man, was not one of the names in the manager's thoughts! Steve Tilson said that he didn't want Mitchell to go but he couldn't be guaranteed a game at present.
So the player who has made two substitute appearances so far this season has insisted on the move. The club will monitor how Mitchell's performances for the Cobblers and hope that he will be pushing for his first team place at Roots Hall soon.
So who else will be on his way to boost confidence and match fitness in a loan deal?
