Mildenhall: 'Oldham will be wanting to get their season going'

The Shrimpers shot stopper made six appearances for the Latics after joining them in December 2005. Though on a six-month loan deal he broke his finger early in the spell and subsequently lost his place in the team.

Big Steve told the Echo: "It's still early days but it's obviously better to be up towards the top of the table and we've been doing well. Oldham will be wanting to get their season going with a win against us but there have been plenty of positives for us so far and we want to keep it going. The only league game we've lost was at Swindon when a few bad decisions went against us and we want another good result tomorrow."
