McCormack has will replace suspended Mark Bentley for games against Macclesfield and Oxford
McCormack has decided to stay on with the Blues after his appearance in Sunday’s bitterly disappointing loss in the LDV Vans Trophy Final. The Preston employed midfielder featured in the game after coming onto the field as a substitute and managed to impress the majority of the watching Blues supporters. But it has been a culmination of good performances that has meant that Steve Tilson and his management team have decided to keep Alan in the fold.

‘Macca’s’ first appearance came as he replaced the suspended Kevin Maher in a three nil win over Cheltenham Town. Although my ‘Marks out of Ten’ suggested that Maher did not have a great game other opinions opposed mine and he continued to start the next game against Rochdale. Another three nil win occurred however Maher returned to the team in the next fixture. Alan has since been limited to the bench but has impressed when playing.

McCormack looks set to get a contract in the summer and seems to be enjoying his spell with the Seasiders.
