Southend United reserve team manager Steve Tilson has confirmed that three of the four triallists that played in the 2-2 Avon Insurance Combination League draw with Luton Town at Roots Hall would be returning to play for the reserves in next Wednesday's game against Millwall, again at Roots Hall, kick-off 2.00pm.

Chris Dorrian, Goalscorer Adam wallace and Rio Alderton are the three to be invited back with Aston Villa striker Andrew Marfell the man to miss out and return to the Midlands.

returned to Colchester United after a month at Roots Hall, Matt is now expected to sign up for the third year of his scholarship with the Garrison town club.

Further to our exclusive news in conjunction with the Essex Courier Newsapaper Blues pre-season friendly with West Ham United is scheduled for Tuesday 23rd July 2002 kick-off 7.45pm.

Blues have also arranged a further friendly against another F.A.Premiership club, Charlton Athletic. The date will be Saturday 27th July 2002 Kick-of 3.00pm
