Danny Maye should return after limping off at Braintree.
Newman will name a much stronger side against the Nationwide Conference opposition, with a full first team expected to start ahead of Tuesday nights Roots Hall opener with West Ham United.

The absentees from Braintree on Monday night, Leon Cort and Steven Clark are both expected to return to action as is winger Danny Maye who limped off after only 25 minutes at Cresing Road.

Darryl Flahavan should return between the sticks but Newman's trialists - Mark Salter, Rio Alderton, Paulo Martins and Neil Jenkins - will not be given a run out, not today or against West Ham but they could reappear on Thursday at Heybridge Swifts.
