Macca fit, Mildy not!

Goalkeeper Ian Joyce will start only his second league match at the weekend against Hereford United when replacing usual No.1 Steve Mildenhall.

Mildenhall limped off at half-time against Brighton on Tuesday evening to be replaced by the American born shot stopper who helped keep the Seagulls scoreless.

The knee injury Big Steve picked up will keep him out for at least a week so Ian should get another game against Swindon at least and anybody who saw his performance at Crewe last season will know we have a good replacement.

The good news is that midfielder Alan McCormack has been confirmed as available for selection having shrugged off a groin problem.

So far no word that Lee Barnard has picked up anything, so that's hopeful, but the other strikers Dougie Freedman and James Walker will definitely not be making the trip to Herefordshire.
