Luggy helps out another lost Pilgrim: 'Anyone can sign me for free'

Krisztian Timar: Another former Pilgrim that Luggy has found a home

The odd ex-Plymouth player has found his way to Roots Hall, some via other clubs, thanks to their former manager Paul Sturrock; Graham Coughlan, Chris Barker, Peter Gilbert, Ryan Leonard & his own son Blair, even Liam Dickinson was so close to being on the Home Park books.

And now Hungarian centre-back Krisztian Timar can be added to that long list as after being names as a trialist in last Tuesday's Blues two's match against Stevenage, which Coughlan's lads won 3-1,it's been announced he's actually training with the club as he attempts to find another club another being released by Argyle in the summer.

It's official, Luggy's a saint!

Sturrock was Timar's boss at Argyle when the defender picked up an injury that was serious enough to require a metal plate in his skull!

He was also Plymouth's player of the season back in 2007/08, and according to Sky Sports he must be appreciated down to the West as Bristol Rovers are rumoured to be interested.

Blimey, hasn't Paul Buckle got enough players down there, not that they've started that brightly.

Timar told Nemzeti Sport: "Paul Sturrock gave me the chance to train with the team in order to stay in good shape and I've not only been training but I can also play in their reserve games. I can't do anything else, so I'm looking forward to the chance. Anyone can sign me for free, but it's not easy to get a contract because the football market is full."

Kris didn't have a bad game on Tuesday, clearing a certain Stevenage goal off the line, and I'm sure Luggy would be interested as he would be the other trialist on show in the game, French striker Boli, if the finanacial cupboard wasn't bear with the squad he has already.

And let's be honest, they're not doing too badly!
