SANCHEZ WATT

Sanchez Watt; the worst victim of some robust early tackling from Tranmere

At first England Under-19 international Sanchez Watt must have wondered what he was doing out on the Roots Hall pitch, as early on the ball was sent consistantly down the right channel and Damien Scannell.

However, when they did start using the left hand side he was uncermoniously whacked on several occasions, eventually bringing the odd Tranmere player to the referee's attention.

Welcome to League One son.

It had to take it's toll and having taken little part in the game, Sanchez was substituted on 53 minutes for Macca, it could have been earlier to be honest.

Let's hope any injury is not too serious and he can join the squad to play MK Dons next Saturday. In our position we need every player we've got that's fit and healthy and in the squad for yet another visit to the land of the concrete cows.

Blues boss Steve Tilson told www.echo-news.co.uk: "That was disappointing because there was space down the left hand side and we could have done with having Sanchez carrying on. But he was limping quite badly towards the end and it was the right decision to bring him off. We will know more about his injury in the next 24 to 48 hours."
