Last Day Loan Opportunity for Tilson

After 5pm the squad remains in place until January, at least five league games, and Tilly wants another player, joining Sailsbury City winger Liam Feeney, to make sure we enter the new year in or around the top six.

Speaking to www.southendunited.co.uk, Tilly said: "I'm still trying to get more in. At the moment the club in question are saying no but I'm hoping to twist their arm."

The only clue on who the player could be to join Salisbury City winger Liam Feeney, who signed on loan yesterday, was that he was currently on the books of a Premier League club based in London.

In other news Tilly announced he'd identified several names to replace former reserve team boss Dean Austin, who left the club this week to become Watford's No.2, and will be naming a successor soon.
