Kidderminster Harriers v Southend United - Preview

Last updated : 04 March 2003 By Mark Wallis

Tes Bramble (pictured) and Damon Searle return from suspension.
Just one place, but four points, seperates United from Kidderminster, and if Rob Newman's men arte going to keep their slim play-off hopes alive then nothing except victory will be required tonight.

Having lost at home to Harriers at Roots Hall earlier in the season following a dreadful display, the Shrimpers will also be looking to pick up their first points at Aggborough having lost their previous two encounters at the Worcestershire venue.

The Southend supporters will be relieved that striker Tes Bramble is available once again having fulfilled his three-match suspension which sidelined him for the entire month of February, however do not be surprised if Newman sticks with loanee frontman Dominic Foley alongside Mark Rawle and leaves Bramble to dwell on the bench.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Stephen Kelly has had his loan period extended, but only for another week as after the Lincoln City match he will be jetting off to Dubai to link up with the Republic of Ireland in the Youth Championships. It is hoped that Kelly will return towards the end of the campaign.

Thankfully United have no new injury worries as they look to make ground on Harriers.
