Kevin Maher to stay or leave ?

Southend United have today announced that they have offered new one-year contracts to reserve team keeper Daniel Gay, left back Damon Searle, Reserve team skipper Dave McSweeney (pictured) and midfied dynamo Stuart Thurgood.

Blues are still awaiting a response from defender Leon Cort and goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan who have also been offered one year deals.
Kevin Maher, as revealed by the Official Club website is in negotiations with Rob Newman regarding a new contract.
