International Recieves Trial as a Familiar Face Rejects Deal

Ipswich-based shot-stopper Waite is officially the second youngest player to make a full International appearance, at only 16 he made his debut in the 4-0 King's Cup victory over Singapore earlier this month.

The promising Thai team is packed full of youthful players and are currently coached by former Aston Villa striker Peter Withe. Waite is expected to join United for training on July 8th, and could make an appearance during Blues' first pre-season friendly at Burnham Ramblers the following Friday (12th).

Also arriving on the mouth of the Thames on trial is striker Mark Salter of Dr Martens Western League side Frome Town. Salter scored 38 times in 49 appearances for Frome last season as his side matched to the Screwfix Direct Premier Division title. The 22-year old frontham is an insurance broker during the week and was formerly with Stoke Sub Hamden.

Unlikely to be at Roots Hall next season is 18-year old striker Daniel Webb, the youngster has rejected a new one-year deal with the Shrimpers having been told thart he was not wanted by Brighton & Hove Albion despite having spent half of last season on loan with the Second Division Champions.
