Injured duo expected to return this week

M'Voto, the powerful centre-back on loan from Sunderland, was already carrying the injury before the match Saturday and needed an injection to get through the first half before going off at the break.

His lack of movement certainly had something to do with Forster's second equalising goal for Brighton.

Herd picked up a knock during the first period and could only carry on for four minutes into the second half.

Luckily for Blues they had a ready made replacement waiting on the bench in Wolves loanee George Friend who had only been with the club 24 hours.

With such a small squad any loss of players is a concern but the positive news released by the club this afternoon is that the injuries are not serious.

It is hoped both M'Voto and Herd can take part in training later this week with a view to being included in the squad for next Saturday's League One clash with Oldham.
