Well, the maths hasn't sent us down yet, but most of the Roots Hall faithful have accepted the worse and wait for the Boxing Day game at Macclesfield to be announced, (Barnet wouldn't be too bad).
However, as Frank Gallagher might say, Southend fans certainly know 'how to party', and with sunshine promised even on the outskirts of Manchester, the coughing up of a fiver to get behind the lads isn't a bad deal.
And you'll get to see little Darryl all over again.
Of course, you still have to pay for your ticket, from £3 to £18 but a £2 addition on the day unless under 12, but if this is to be the end, this will certainly help the pain.

If we can get a result then it might be possible we might just stay up and with this offer hopefully more supporters will make the journey than were perhaps condidering before.
