Here we go again......Swindon still hopeful match is on!

As heavy overnight snow again caused chaos throughout the Wiltshire town, Swindon Town were still confident they could get tomorrow's game played despite the freezing conditions.

The covers laid on the County Ground playing surface have remained in place and will do so tonight, while an army of volunteers and club officials are expected to clear the fallen snow from on the top of them this afternoon.

The club have also taken steps to address the concerns over fans' ability to get to the match tomorrow.

Work was due to start on clearing the car parks outside the stadium, while a supply of grit from Banbury was also due to arrive to aid the process.

A club spokesman said: "We're still intent on getting the game on and a lot of work will take place today and tomorrow morning to help that happen. Obviously we'll have to wait and see what the weather does in the area, but we're still hopeful."

Best of luck lads and excuse my cynicism, it's just we've been through this a few days ago.

At least we don't have to get back to Scunthorpe on a Tuesday night!

Oh well, better get on with the preview then.

See you all in the pub if there's a call off twenty minutes before the kick-off!
