Tilson: 'I think it is probably unlikely that they will figure again this season'

Blues boss Steve Tilson has confirmed that the three players that were replaced at Oldham last weekend will not be fit to play against the Hatters Saturday afternoon with a continuation of the hamstring injuries that affected them all.

Skipper and centre back Adam Barrett, midfielder Jean-Francois Christophe, and striker Francis Laurent, will all not start against fellow relegated side Stockport County, in fact they will probably be out for the final game against Southampton as well.

Tilly told www.southendunited.co.uk: "They all definitely won't play this weekend. I think it is probably unlikely that they will figure again this season with these injuries but we will have to wait and see."

With Scott Malone rejoining Wolves, and Scott Spencer and Damien Scannell both remaining out, picking the possible starting eleven for the match could be easier than usual!

One who might be in that side is striker Harry Crawford, the face of the future.

Young Harry told: www.echo-news.co.uk: "It would be great if I could get my first start and that's certainly what I'm after but any opportunity I get given to go on the pitch is great. I enjoy every minute of it and I thought I did OK when I came on at Oldham last weekend so hopefully I can again.
