Well known irishman Harrison Crawford makes another appearance in the Ukraine

In the Republic of Ireland's third and final match in the 2009/10 UEFA European Under-19 Championship elite round taking place in the Ukraine, Southend striker Harry Crawford won his second cap when this time he came off the bench to play the entire second half in the Republic's 1-0 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Chelsea midfielder Conor Clifford scored the only goal from the penalty spot on 68 minutes, his second in as many matches as Ireland confirmed second spot in group 3.

Republic of Ireland: Ger Hanley, Richard Towell, John Dunleavy, Sean McGinty, Shane McEleney, Conor Hourihane, Conor Clifford, Conor Henderson, Daniel Kearns, Shaun Timmins, Karl Sheppard.

Substitutes: Ian McLoughlin, Ronan Murray (on for Karl Sheppard,69 mins) , Stephen McDonnell, Andrew Boyle, Harrison Crawford (on for Daniel Kearns, 46 mins), James Keohane (on for Shaun Timmins, 33mins).

Sadly for the boys in green, but not for those followers of any side that wears an English shirt, the three points failed to grab the only qualification place on offer for this summer's finals in France.

England's 1-1 draw with host country and present Champions Ukraine in Kiev was enough to see the three lions enter the eight team finals along with host nation France; Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Austria

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dean Parrett, who grabbed the winner against Ireland last week, scored a very late equaliser after Ukraine had taken the lead with only nine minutes remaining!
