Prince Harry considers reception from Southend fans at the weekend

With the news that Alex Revell will not be playing for the Chairboys in the weekend game at Roots Hall, that leaves two former Shrimper strikers that will line-up against their old teammates.

Along with the news that Matt Harrold went on holiday with Simon Francis last summer, more investigation needed on that one, our ex-centre forward admits, with six goals in 59 games over two seasons, he was never going to win any popularity awards.

Harrold told the Echo: "Things didn't go as well as I wanted at Southend and I didn't get as many goals as I would have liked. But whenever I played I gave 100 per cent and the team did reach the play-offs at the end of the season. It will be good to go back but I'm not expecting a great reception from the fans to be honest."

And somehow we did let him score against us during the 1-1 draw in the first league meeting between the clubs back in August!

Lewis Hamilton wonders if he has time for both football and Formula 1

Wideboy Kevin Betsy has already been on loan for the Bucks side, scoring once in 22 appearances, before signing permanently for them only a week ago.

The former Bristol City winger, who turned out 50 times in 18 months for the Shrimpers, wanted to be starting more games than just warming the bench and felt it was "better for both parties that I left."

Betsy also spoke to the Echo: "I really did enjoy my time there even though I don't think the club really saw the best of me. I think I did have the most assists but I should have scored more than three goals but I still have great respect for the manager and his assistant Paul Brush who have done a fantastic job there. I was training with them only a few days ago and now I'm going to be playing against them so it will be weird."

The reunion will continue as Lewis Hunt should be turning out at right-back for the Chairboys but Leon Johnstone is out injured.
