Harris: 'I suffered no reaction to playing'
Shrimpers striker Neil Harris came off the subs bench Saturday after injury to reboot his partnership with Liam Dickinson that certainly helped turn the game around in the home side's favour as they dismissed struggling Plymouth Argyle 2-0.
Harris told www.echo-news.co.uk: “I was delighted to get back out there again after my injury and I was pleased to make an impact when I came on to help the lads win the game. I suffered no reaction to playing and hopefully I can train well this week and then be even sharper for the Rotherham game on Saturday.”
The Millers have certianly started the season well under the former Brentford boss Andy Scott, and with the Millers sitting second League Two probable starter Bomber will be looking for his first League goal in a Shrimpers shirt, though, of course, the tempremental Bilel Mohsni will be available again after his one-match ban.
Harris said: “I think this will be our hardest game of the season so far. They’ve invested heavily in their team during the summer and have had good results, so we know we’re in for a tough test.”
A repeat of last season's 2-1 scoreline would see the Shrimpers leapfrog the South Yorkshire side in the table, with Rotherham having a slightly worse defense at the moment but having scored three more goals.
