Looks as if Johnny will be out for the whole Malone loan period

If we did go begging to the Football League to clear the two loan signings this week, the time both players will be out suggest they were needed.

Wolves loanee left back Scott Malone will continue in his place for possibily the whole four week period as that's the time Johnny's been told he will be not be available for the first team.

Possibily Orient on December 28 could see a return to the squad.

Up to ten days on the treatment table for the exciting Frenchman

Presently employed on the right wing, Francis Laurent limped off in the 77th minute of Tuesday evening's 2-0 defeat at Prenton Park to Tranmere Rovers.

The official site has revealed that a scan on Thursday showed Francis had not torn the muscle but only strained it, so could be fully fit in ten days time.

Maybe too early to travel to Hartlepool but looks good for Exeter on December 19th.

Even so, the loan signing of Jason Ibehre from MK Dons, who has received strong support on former clubs Orient and Walsall websites, seems a perfect fit to start wide right.

If he makes an early impression could always move inside later on to suppport top scorer Barney, Dougie looking as if he could do with a rest.

We can make our own mind up Tuesday December 1st when we play Norwich City at Roots Hall.
