Blue Square Premier outfit Eastbourne Borough have stepped into the breach

A new side for the Shrimpers to face Eastbourne borough are a semi-professional English football club, based in East Sussex, and are members of the Blue Square Premiership where they were only two points out of the relegation zone, but with so many teams getting points deducted or thrown out they would probably have survived anyway!

Founded only in 1964, they are known as The Sports after their previous name as Langney Sports and play their home matches at the Langney Sports Club, sometimes known as Priory Lane.

At home they play in red shirts, black shorts.
