Gerald England leaves the Blues

Gerald England ( pictured ) who will not be eighteen until the 17th of March this year and who has featured for the reserves at Roots Hall this season has been released, Sean Coburn and Daniel Lunan are still awaiting to hear if they if they will be offered the third year of their scholarships.

Meanwhile eight youth team players have been offered two year scholarships with the Blues, Defenders Jamie Gray, James Smith and Stuart Williams have all been offered deals after impressing for the Club's under seventeen side this season. Left back Ben Price, who has been on trial from Norwich City, has also been offered a two year contract as have midfield duo David Bryan and Luke Moore.

Striker Steven Bourne who played for the reserves yesterday against Cambridge United as a second half substitute plus Joe Ilett have also been offered deals, both players having produced good displays for both the under seventeen and under nineteen sides this season.
