Friend: 'I'm glad for the supporters to be behind me as apposed to against me now'
George told Blues Insider: "First impressions have been very postive. Both the training set-up and ground facilities are decent at this level and I'm looking forward to my time down here.
As well as playing against Oldham when on loan to Millwall, George has also played against the Blues, in the goalless draw at Roots Hall on Friday August 21th.
He looked back on the evening: "I have also had the opportunity to play against Southend this season and have to say it was great to be a part of a Friday night game here. There was a great atmosphere and I was surprised by how much noise the supporters made and with this in mind I'm glad for the supporters to be behind me as apposed to against me now!! Seeing as most supporters won't have seen me play yet I don't really know which sort of player I can compare myself too, but I admired Sergio Ramos growing up so if there's any comparison to him then I'll take it!
