Well, well; while Peter Clarke was happy to go to Huddersfield in League One to get into the Championship, bad luck Clarkey, right back Simon Francis is not prepared to gamble with his future, he wants second tier football now!

Brentford boss Andy Scott told www.hounslowchronicle.co.uk: "I have spoken to Simon, and we have had a bid accepted by Southend, but he wants to play in the Championship."
