Fortnight longer for Freedman and Walker

Shrimpers will be praying for the fragile fitness of Lee Barnard with the lack of fit forwards around Roors Hall.

It's been six weeks now since one of Dangerous Dougie's dodgy thighs were injured against Crewe, and even after some intensive rehabilitation work it will be at least another fortnight before he gets any match play.

Subs bench for MK Dons at home anyone? Would be useful in a must win game.

As for James, his reserve game comeback against the Farmers in the first week of March saw him limp off after an hour having aggravated a hamstring injury he had picked against Leeds at the start of the year!

He will start training about the time Dougie will be hoping for a comeback so it could be Oldham away for Walker.

Alex Revell, of course, will not be seen until the start of next season.

With Francis Laurent's less than impressive game against Carlisle, it didn't seem to work as a partnership with Theo Robinson, (they seemed to want to take up similar positions), the good Lord might be back at the start for Hartlepool where we'll be hoping those tough northern defenders leave our Lee alone, at least until he's put the ball in the net a couple of times.
