Kelvin Jack; two years without a club but a mate of Captain Adam apparently
Southend United have signed shot stopper Kelvin Jack as cover for No.1 choice Steve Mildenhall until the end of the season.
Ian Joyce; homeward bound; USA, USA!
Meanwhile, Ian Joyce who was given time out to try and fix up a club in the county of his birth, is set to see his contract cancelled by mutual consent sometime next week so he can return to the States on a permenant basis.
Thanks Joycey and good luck, will never forget hearing USA, USA being chanted away at Crewe for the first time last season.
Jack has won 33 international caps for Trinidad and Tobago, and he goes straight into the squad for MK Dons.
He left Gillingham in 2008 and had a trail with Barnsley but a freak accident saw Kelvin break his leg.
It seems he's a close friend of Blues skipper Adam Barrett, who got him fixed up with the the club where Kelvin has spent most of this season training to keep fit.
Tilly has shown great faith in Under-18 keeper Daniel Bentley, well I suppose he didn't have much choice, yet with Big Steve known to clutch his side now and again, more experienced cover on the bench is not a bad idea.
