The centre-back, who is with Blues from Tottenham Hotspur, played the full 90 minutes as France shocked Stuart Pearce's side at Nottingham Forest's City ground to hand them their second defeat in three matches.

France took the lead when the ball broke kindly to Gabriel Obertan and he fired into the bottom left corner from the edge of the box.

Moussa Sissoko doubled the visitors' advantage when he ran clean through and superbly dinked the ball over Joe Hart.

Liverpool's French striker David Ngog caused England all sorts of problems before he came off after an hour.

France though have not qualified for the summers Under-21 tournament in Sweden which England have.

Dorian himself spoke after the game: "The first game wasn't too hard against Estonia, but the second game against England was a very good match and a very good standard. The French manager said that if we could keep a clean sheet against England it would be perfect and having won 2-0 it couldn't have gone much better for us. England are a good team and I enjoyed playing against them. We played in a nice stadium at Nottingham Forest and there was a good crowd in attendance.

Whatever the result it was great top see Southend next to any player in any type of international for any country in this mornings papers.
