Echo insists players still not been paid

Still no sources, but with Dougie and Captain Adam's words over the last week, it does seem to confirm the story.

Paying back the Trust a small amount such as 60k a couple of months later than the original deadline just shows up the financial mess the club is in at the moment.

The argument that if the club responds to this they would have to answer every query has gone out the window.

With the Shrimpers faithful preparing to make the long trip to Hartlepool Saturday to show the team the supporters are right behind them, chairman Ron Martin should come on to the official site and state whether these accusations are untrue, or, if not, what they intend to do about it?
