Striker Dougie Freedman, who has almost turned Southend's season around on his own with four goals in four games, limped off after yet another hard Orient tackle around the 70 minute mark on Friday.

However Tilly is hopeful he will be OK for the trip to Yeovil where the Blues will be hoping to record their fourth succesive win.

Speaking to the Southend Evening Echo Tilly said: "Hopefully it's just a touch of fatigue in Dougie's thigh. Touch wood it's nothing worse than that because on top of the goals he's bringing us he is giving good information to others out there with his experience and that's something we need."

And so say the now hundreds travelling to the game at the weekend including you editor, so a full report and day tripper as Blues continue to edge towards the promised land of the top six.
