Daniels: 'We have been able to grind out results'
The Shrimpers keeper on loan from premiership West Brom until the new year has been a great signing for the league leaders and has let in three goals in seven games, that first against the Daggers was very strange.
Moreover, the Bolton born boy has been on loan seven times in his career, once even as a Pirate, who it seems, and it was only nine games, Luke doesn't look back on that time with any great fondness.
Daniels told www.echo-news.co.uk: “I’ve got nothing positive to say about my time there so haven’t got anything to say about it. I just hope we can get another good result and I’ve been impressed with Southend since I came here. They are a very good side to be up there at the top and there’s a positive feel about the place. We have been able to grind out results when we haven’t played well, like against Oxford at home, and that’s going to be vital when you’re going for promotion.”
