Convoy Of Trialists Call In For Pre-Season

Darren Dunning netted last year against Blues for Torquay

The most notable names on the list are those of Duncan Jupp, the ex-Luton Town and Wimbledon man who had a short stint at Roots Hall towards the end of last season and midfielder Darren Dunning, a 21-year old released by Blackburn Rovers who has spent spells on loan at Bristol City, Rochdale, Blackpool, Torquay United and Macclesfield Town.

Another man released from Ewood Park - Darren Hockenhull - has also been on loan at Rochdale.

They will be joined by Robert Betts, released from Coventry City, Craig Strachan from Oxford United as well as goalkeepers Daniel Beverley and Swede Marco Lindholm. Fromer Bristol Rovers right back Che Wilson is also another well known name on Wignall's viewing list.
