His team are up to 13th after taking nine points from the last four games and certainly bounced back from the disappointing defeat against lowly Crewe.

Speaking to Blues World after the derby clash Tilly said: "This was exactly the type of game we needed after the defeat to Crewe. It wasn't the greatest of games and we had to dig in for the three points, but it was hard to play football on this pitch because it was very bobbly. (Great word Tills!) But the lads could not have given me any more effort today (Saturday). They fought hard for every ball and in particular, I thought that Peter Clarke was immense."

He also commented on the fantastic sell-out support who once again proved they are second to none for getting behing their team away from home.

"I thought the fans the fans were also brilliant and it does help when they get behind us like that. Against Crewe it was obviously a frustrating night, but one or two individuals were shouting out things which were not nice. It doesn't help anyone, but it was a different story today and I thought the fans were tremendous. We have a tough game on Tuesday night against Scunthorpe, but we have won three out of our last four games and are in good spirits."

For the sake of fairness TLG would have liked to bring the thoughts of head Farmer Paul Lambert and how confident he still is of making the play-offs now but the silence from North Essex is deafening.
