Boston United Hear Their Verdict

Manager Steve evans was suspended by Boston.
Boston were promoted to the League as Nationwide Conference champions in April, but it looked like the Pilgrims could have been ejected from the League without even kicking a ball when these irregulaties came to light.

Manager Steve Evans was suspended pending the outcome of the hearing, which took place this morning.

The hearing decided that Boston will retain their League place, but they will start the campaign with -4 points and they also face a £100,000 fine.

Conference runners-up Dagenham & Redbridge are furious at the outcome, with feelings that they should have taken the Pilgrims League place. Boston however are set to appeal against their punishment.
