Blues to face Roy Keane's Tractor Boys in July friendly

Ipswich finished 9th in the Coca-Cola Championship, eight points off a play-off position.

Their new boss Roy Keane has already started with a couple of wins under his belt and will want to continue to work out which players will be able to match his high work ethic.

A reasonable Suffolk away support can be expected to see how the former ManU enforcer and ex-Sunderland manager is continuing to shap their team.

They should be a decent test for a Blues squad whose first League One match of the new season will be two and a half weeks after the game.

The club has promised more pre-season matches to be added and at least it's not Billericay away, yet.
