Blewitt now returns to Premiership Hammers

Tilson has allowed the East Ham born defender to rejoin West Ham after he played just one minute of Southend first team football against Cheltenham Town. Blewitt has otherwise been restricted to the substitute’s bench and the reserve team as Southend reached their final goal of promotion. Blewitt will rejoin the, also promoted Hammers who are now back in the Premier League after enjoying success in Cardiff.

Blewitt will be best remembered for missing the team coach at Grantham services on the way back from Grimsby!
