Barrett: 'There was so many positives to be taken from Bristol Rovers'

After Saturday's heartbreaking last minute defeat at the Memorial Stadium Southend captain and centre back Adam Barrett is looking for a maximum return from the two matches over the Easter holidays against Yeovil Town and Gillingham, both of whom want the points as much as the Shrimpers!

Captain Adam told www.southendunited.co.uk: "Easter is always a big weekend for one reason or another at most clubs. Our home form has been OK of late so hopefully we can get something against Yeovil. Gillingham are strong at their place though so it won't be an easy task."

It goes without saying the United legend is confident that his team will be playing League One football next season.

Adam continued: "Of course I believe it. If I didn't I might as well pack up and go home now. It was a blow not to get anything from the Bristol Rovers match but there was so many positives to be taken from the match it gives you hope."
