Barnard: 'Touch wood, injuries won't happen'
Lee Barnard was obviously a happy man after another goal scoring display against the Pirates took his season's tally to 12.
Barney spoke to Blues Player after the game: "It's a really good win for us because Bristol Rovers have been doing really well and for me personally it was great to get another couple of goals. The lads did really well to create the chances for me and the most important thing was that it got us back to winning ways with another three points."
So what's the secret of this season's success?: "Before I've had to miss games with injuries which makes things hard, but touch wood that won't happen and I can carry on this form. I don't want to set myself any targets or limits or anything but it's nice to be top goalscorer in the league and it would be great to go on and get a few more."
