Barney: 'It was brilliant to get a late goal for us to win the game'

With talk of unpaid tax bills, administration and 10 point penalties the good Lord's winner against Gillingham in the third minute of stoppage time at the end of the game was particularly pleasing!

Barnard told the Echo: "It's been a tough week for everyone with what has been going on but it was great to be able to lift some of that gloom. It has been a worrying time for us, just like it has for the fans and it was brilliant to get a late goal for us to win the game. We're not sure about things that happen off the pitch but I just hope it can all be sorted now."

Sadly for Lee he picked up his 5th yellow card which means a week with his feet up as he misses Saturday's F.A. Cup return with Gillingham.

Lee continued: "It was a harsh booking in my opinion and of course it's disappointing I can't play the next game now. He told me I was booked for the foul and it wasn't dissent. He said I was backing in but I'm not sure how that warrants a yellow card if I'm being honest."
