Baldwin: 'Look forward to all the other games we have coming up'

Centre back Pat Baldwin has made 223 appearances over seven years with Colchester United, but he doesn't fit the style of play demanded by head Farmer Aidy Boothroyd.

Baldwin told www.echo-news.co.uk: "I would obviously have loved to have played in the game tonight because I've always enjoyed them in the past. But it's part of the loan that I can't and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll just have to sit it out and look forward to all the other games we have coming up."

This will be the second time Pat has had to sit out a game against his parent club, as he was loaned out to Bristol Rovers earlier this season and was also not allowed to start against ColU due to the terms of his loan agreement.
Balders continued: "I think it will be a good game and one that's also a bit strange for me. It's the club I'm on loan at against the club I'm on loan from but I will be among those watching on the television for this one."
