Simon Francis takes his turn to grab a much needed rest

Luckily, we don't believe in conspiracy theories here at S24 Towers but it's certainly getting suspicious.

As Christophe will be able to take his place in Saturday's squad for the now very important game against Hartlepool after serving a one match suspension, full back Simon Francis will miss the game after picking up his fifth yellow card at Charlton yesterday afternoon.

Once again it will also make team selection relatively straight forward, presuming no injuries to report, with Anthony Grant able to slot in to the right back spot allowing the Frenchman to return into the centre of midfield with Macca.

So whose turn is it next week?

Poor Franck Moussa, looking more knackered with every passing game, started a run with a yellow of his own, but how near is he to getting a week in the sun somewhere?

For now he can only look on in envy as his team mates make sure that even in the small squad the Shrimpers have at the moment, it only takes a little imagination for a form of player rotation to take place.

Wonder if Tilly knows what's going on?!
