A Hot Line-Up Expected For Diamonds Visit

Pop Stars winners Girls Aloud are pencilled in to perform at Roots Hall.
Top female band Girls Aloud and also Liberty X, both winners of the popular Pop Stars programme are both expected to perform live on a temporary stage in a pre-kick-off show which is expected to commence at 2pm. These two successful acts will also be joined by Southend-based performer Tina Cousins.

Martin Day and Sue Harrison from the Essex FM 'Morning Crew' will be presenting the afternoon's entertainment and Jonny Spurling and Terry Alderton will also be at Roots Hall performing the new Southend United sond which is going to be published shortly.

Special deals for supporters will see all children admitted into the ground for just £1 whilst Season Ticket Holders will be able to bring a friend for just £5.
