Steve Tilson will take charge of his 300th game as Southend manager tonight and nothing will please the Blues boss more than reaching the landmark in style with another three points at Swindon Town.

Another victory for the Shrimpers tonight would also equal a club record of fifth successive away wins which was previously achieved in 1991 and 1931.

However, they will set off down the M4 without Alan McCormack, as it's been confirmed that he has failed to shake off his groin problem while keeper Steve Mildenhall has been declared fit.

Speaking to the Echo Tilly shrugged this all of knowing the importance of tonight's game: "We're doing well at the moment and want to keep it going It's a nice landmark getting to 300 games and it would obviously be nice to celebrate it with a win but it won't be easy because Swindon are a good side. Of all the teams down there it's Swindon that shock me the most because of the players they have. They have some excellent individuals in the team and I can't work out why they aren't higher up. They will want be desperate to win tonight but we're full of confidence and have great spirit so we're ready for the game."

Possible Southend: Mildenhall, Sankofa, Dervitte, Clarke, Barrett (c), Grant, Christophe, Betsy, Moussa, Barnard, Robinson.

Subs: Joyce, Francis, Herd, Scannell, Laurent.
