The First Shrimpers Trust Curry Night of the 2008/09 Season will be held on Tuesday 2nd September 2008 at the Maharajah, 358 London Road, Benfleet.
The evening begins at 7.30 pm and the cost will be £12.00 per person.
We welcome Members and Non Members alike so why not come along for some good food and chat.

The Shrimpers Trust are pleased to announce details of their inaugural Poker Championship to be held at the Rendezvous Casino, Southend on Saturday 13
th September 2008.
The evening starts at 7.00 pm with around 1 hours (optional) teaching, with the Championship Commencing at 8.00 pm.
The initial Buy In will be £20.00 which includes a Hot/Cold Buffet that will be served during the evening, and if you do get knocked out early you will be able to Re Buy (during the first hour) for just £10.00 (only 1 Re Buy permitted per player).
The Poker Championship will be overseen by Casino Staff and the final table will be Dealt by them. The Tournament Stats will also be displayed on various Television Monitors in the Playing Area.
The pot will be split between the top 10% of players based on final standings and the Rendezvous Casino are also providing two stylish trophies for the 1st & 2nd place players.
The Casino will also be giving Two for One Vouchers to every player for use in their Restaurant at a future date.
Due to the relaxing of certain regulations you no longer need to be a Member to enter the Casino, however it is recommended that you join prior to the evening as not only will this speed up your entrance, it will also save you around 10% on Bar Prices during the evening. Please note that there is strict minimum age limit of 18 and age checks will be made on the night, so make sure you have photo ID with you. To find out more about the Rendezvous Casino click here. And if Poker is not for you, but you still wish to come along for an evening out, you can do for just £10.00 which entitles you to all of the above including the Buffet Meal except obviously joining in the Tournament. Places in the Shrimpers Trust Poker Championship are limited to 90 and a further 40 non playing guests will be allowed so book now to ensure your place.
