In The Hot Seat: Rotherham

How long have you supported Rotherham United?

Since the mid 90's.

What is your present squad like?

An average young League Two squad with a couple a stand out players - Adam le Fondre and Nicky Law.

Which youngster has made the biggest impression in your team this season?

No real youngsters have been given a chance this season, but I suppose Marcus Marshall is the most likely to do so.

What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Our manager (former Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore) is a club legend and he will still be here next season whether we gain promotion or not.

Are you happy with your chairman/backroom staff?

Yes. The chairmen is ambitious and doesn't seem to be the type to harshly sack managers.

Favourite ever player and why?

Alan Lee - The complete striker; quick, strong, good in the air, hardworking and his goals kept us in the Championship.

Best ever Millers game seen?

Rotherham 4 Wolves 4; League Cup game that we won on penalties.

Which team do you want to beat most and why?

I would quite like to see us beat Barnsley in League One next season, culminating in (former boss) Mark Robins sacking.

Favourite away ground and why?

Hillsborough - For the memories of two great league victories in the Championship days.

Your choices for this season's League Two Champions, automatics, play-off places and the two relegated teams?

Shrewsbury
Chesterfield
Port Vale

Rotherham
Crewe (Promoted in play offs)
Wycombe
Bury

Lincoln
Barnet

Any opinions on Southend United, especially with their current troubles?

Think you massively overachieved under Steve Tilson, gaining promotion to the Championship and your story mirrors ours in some ways. Unable to compete financially and ending up in administration losing almost all of your players. Hope you can consolidate this season and recover.

How do you see the future of the football league?

The extinction of the elitist, corrupt and unsporting Frankensteinship and the liquidation of the multi national corporations such as the manure that have raped our sport. Then out of the ashes the football league will be reborn like a phoenix from the flames with proper football clubs competing in a fair and just sport with transfer and wage limits, foreign player limits and television replays.

I can but live in hope.

Many thanks X, or should I say Vlad, and enjoy the weekend mate, Halloween that is, not Saturday; and if you want a word with any of the merry Millers you can find them at www.rotherhamunited-mad.co.uk, and a very good site it is too.
