Shrimpers supremo keeping quiet on the future of Big Steve
Of the players whose wages are keeping chairman Ron Martin up at night, his 'under utilised investments' that have ended up in League Two, ex-captain Adam and Macca have buggered off, Steve Francis is waiting for a call from the Championship, good luck there Franno, that leaves shot stopper Steve Mildenhall.
Now Mildy has made it quite clear to anyone who wants to listen that he wants out of Roots Hall.
So in his on-air interview, does Uncle Ron want to share anything? "Don't know yet."
However, today he added that: 'We can't have players on 200k a year in League Two.' Fair enough, and here he did mention Steve Mildenhall by name.
Then again, if your involved in pre-season training Steve I'd check your after jog oranges.
Still, what are they moaning about? With the new budget from August 1st, "everybody will be paid on time", shame that leaves the end of July then.
